Mike Tauber

Mike Tauber is a full-time professional artist. He completed his formal art training at the College of Fine Arts at San Diego State University in 1985. He holds a bachelors degree in Art with an emphasis in Environmental Design. He worked as an architectural illustrator prior to becoming a fine artist with a specialty in large mural installations. His formats and mediums include paint, tile, and relief in wood, metal, cement, and synthetics.

In the past twenty years Tauber has created award-winning art for public agencies, churches, schools, commercial facilities, retail centers, medical and dental offices, housing centers, clubhouses, restaurants and resorts. He has installed works in Baja California, Queensland, Rio de Janeiro, and throughout the southwestern United States. He was raised in Illinois, and has kept a studio in Laguna Beach since 1987.
